Lovely view overlooking Ivinghoe Beacon and the Chilterns before the gentle climb to Marsworth and the Tring Summit, after which we go through downward locks all the way to the Thames. The weather today has been lovely, sunny and a lot warmer. Only a tickle of rain .... just so that we do not get too cocky about the spring. Still a lot of swans sitting on their nests although we saw one yesterday with seven cygnets. Got to Marsworth and decided to stay put for the night and maybe tomorrow. Maggie went off on her bike to Tring and I drilled a hole in the steel for a padlock and caught up with post etc.
