Day 140 .... 30.09.13 .... Fradley Junction

Arrived at Fradley Junction which is where we leave the Trent and Mersey and go down the Coventry Canal to Braunston.  We have thoroughly enjoyed the Trent and Mersey.  Went back past the famous Armitage Shanks  factory and this sign with the loos in the background amused us ..................... 

 ................ very rural to the junction and one of the last narrow bridges and locks ..... as far as we can remember !!!!

............................ quite a tight turn into the Coventry Canalwhich is where we are moored 100 yards from the photo.

Tomorrow on to Hopwas on the outskirts of Tamworth.
