Got a wave from this chap in one of the skiffs that have a frame for a tent. Real 3 Men in a Boat stuff or in this case one man in a boat.
Came upon the first queue of the year to get in to a lock. I am sure there will be more !!
Dorchester is a superb find. Good ride through a corn field or two to get to it
but when we did it was extremely interesting. Roman, Saxon, Neolithic Etc ....and still extremely picturesque ..........
Cannot put on the many pics we have but it was an eye opener to see that there was an archaeoloigical dig on the allotments, which has three more years to run. They have uncovered Celtic, Roman remains and looks very interesting
