This morning we went back up the Anderton Lift so the photos are a bit repetitive but going upwards. We got in one of the first "liftings"? and then had a good look around the visitors centre and displays. Very interesting.

.................... had a good four hour journey back to Middlewich ..... which is where we shall spend the night. Tomorrow we turn right to get on to the link to the Shropshire Canal. This should be about a five hour trip but the forecast is for a day with rain and gales tomorrow so we shall see.
....................... this was a little aquaduct over the River Dane, which, I must admit, I had never heard of before yesterday.
